In the last year, dub legend Caspa has put out two mixes, along with his bone-shaking Vibrations EP. It’s safe to say that this year’s releases have seen major attention, racking up nearly 400k plays on Soundcloud. In a bass world where brostep, glitchstep, and riddim are dominating the scene, it is refreshing and nostalgic to hear an OG release some good ol’ UK dubstep.
Hot off a mini Canadian tour, and headlining Halloween festivals, Caspa has been teasing us with the release of Ghost Town for months. Ghost Town has a track list of 3: “I am Future”, “What’s Happening To Me”, and “Ice Cold”. Both “I am Future” and “Ice Cold” were previewed in his Mix 1.0. However, “What’s Happening To Me” has been teased on his Instagram stories. All three songs grow Caspa’s slow tempo, wobble-enhanced sound he’s been mastering over the years.
