God bless Sweden for bringing us Lotta Lindgren, also known by her stage name, Léon. If you haven’t heard of her, you’re welcome. This girl is a force to be reckoned with. I’ve mentioned her in the past, and for good reason.
Born and raised in Stockholm, Léon brings an effortless charm to *literally* everything she does. Her style? On point. Her voice? Life-altering. Her dance moves? Impressively smooth. Her cover choices? See for yourself.
It’s no secret that this girl is talented. Her musical youth is a testament to the success she’s seen in just a few short years. According to Glamour, her 2015 Soundcloud drop, “Tired of Talking”, was meant for her closest friends and family. Much to her surprise, 19 million Spotify listeners joined the party. Her sultry vocals are captivating, leaving you wanting more.
Seeing Léon live for the first time did not disappoint. Picture a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Seattle. Out walks a strikingly beautiful 20-something-year-old, clad in black boots and a red dress. She won over the audience quite immediately, joking that she expected it to be raining (more specifically, she said “it’s f***** hot here”), and threw off her boots. She pranced around the stage for the entirety of her set, dumping every last drop of energy into her performance. Her tracks have an intimate, warm vibe that can be replayed over and over again, yet make you want to dance ’til the sun comes down. Safe to say, I enjoyed myself.
Lucky for you (and me), she’s currently on tour with Wrabel, another fan-favorite. Grab your tickets here. You won’t regret it.
