Illenium Drops Second Album: Awake

After a long night of rest, it’s finally time to rise with Illenium’s new album, Awake. We’ve all been sleeping until his incredible second album has finally been released.

American DJ, Illenium, also known as Nick Miller, has been all over this summer performing at festivals like Firefly, EDC Las Vegas and Electric Zoo. This album has had fans waiting and the time has finally come. With artists like Annika Wells, Gryffin and Daya on the tracks, you definitely won’t be disappointed. While Illenium has created unbelievable mixes such as, Flume’s, Say It (Feat. Tove Lo) and The Chainsmokers, Don’t Let Me Down (Feat.Daya) we knew his next album would be one for the books. He’s gone from zero to 100 in no time and he’s continuing to rise in the dance music community.

In an interview with Magnetic Magazine, Illenium discussed his album compared to Ashes and said, “There’s similarities and differences. A lot of strong vocals and melodies but more recorded elements than Ashes. The new album is a split between vocal stuff and chill instrumental tracks.” Illenium’s music pulls your emotions in all different ways. The ups and downs will have you daydreaming and feeling like you are part of the song.  Awake has a wistful, dreamy and unique sound to it, while also incorporating lyrics that will take your mind on a journey. The harmonious bass (while of course) will never let you down while dancing either.
