Yesterday, Canadian festival Shambhala reported that it was taking a proactive step to inform patrons about a possible evacuation from the British Columbia site. Today, the festival took to the public to let them know that smoke should be the only concert of the weekend.
The fire seems to be far enough South from the festival grounds in Salmo and out of reach. With that being said, the 20th year festival reminds its attendees to be considerate of poor air quality, and to bring necessary items in case of breathing issues. There is also an official advisory on compromised air HERE.
Stay safe out there, and seek help if you need it!
