Happy New Year to Porter Robinson and Deadmau5 fans! What’s a better way to ring in the new year then to see these two amazing DJ’s perform at Insomniac Countdown New Years Eve 2017?! We thought Insomniac blew us out of the water with their incredible lineup last year with Steve Aoki, Zedd, W&W, Showtek and RL Grime, but we have been proven wrong!
Joel Thomas Zimmerman, also known as Deadmau5, returns to an Insomniac festival after seven years, to show us how to party. Deadmau5 selected his DJ name when he found a dead mouse on his computer while he was working with an online music licensing company as a programmer. We aren’t a fan of real mice, but we love Deadmau5! His recently released album, stuff I used to do, is something like no other, just like his performances. From his unique sound, to his Cube 2.1 production to the most fun part of the performance, his mouse head! When 2018 arrives, you won’t even realize the clock stroke midnight, because the music will be so incredible. Being one of the top electronic dance DJs in the world, you can be sure to expect the best and most entertaining night on New Years 2017.
Alongside Deadmau5, American DJ and producer, Porter Robinson, will be ringing in the new year with Insomniac and fans. If you’ve never seen Porter live, you are in for a treat. His shows are incredible and the light shows are unbelievable! Porter’s sound also has a unique and fascinating vibe like Deadmau5, which is why they are such an awesome duo as headliners. Being a fan of anime and Japanese culture, he incorporates these tones into his music, making it sound like you are in a different world. His amazing album, Worlds, EP, Spitfire, will have you feeling like you are floating on cloud 9 through the festival.
Deep in the San Bernardino Valley, the event will take place on December 30th to December 31st 2017 and the NOS Event Center. Early-Bird passes on sale today, Friday, Aug 25 at 12pm PST. Grab your tickets here! Stay tuned for the full line-up, which we expect to be just as epic as the headliners.
