III Reasons Why We’re Excited For III Points

III Points Music, Arts, and Technology Festival in Miami, Florida already has a pretty good rep for being the only Gorillaz performance in Florida, but that’s not all that has me all excited for this fest in October. As hard as it was, I narrowed it down to three reasons why I’m excited for III Points (and you should be too).

  1. TECHNOLOGY: The “technology” aspect of this fest really has me interested. I’ve been to my fair share of music and arts festivals, but music, arts, and tech? This will be a first. Pretty stoked to check out what that’s all about.
  2. FESTIVAL HOURS: On Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th, doors OPEN at 6pm and CLOSE 5am. On Sunday the 15th doors open at 5pm and close at 2am. I don’t think I’ve even been to a fest with night-only hours like this. Super pumped to screw over my sleep schedule just in time for midterms.
  3. MUSIC (of course): It’s incredibly hard for me to really pay attention to the entire lineup. I’m way too excited to have a chance to finally see Gorillaz live. With Gorillaz being a “virtual band,” and III Points being a tech festival, I really have high expectations for this performance (I’m thinking holograms again? One can dream). Other than that, I’m pretty excited for some more firsts for me from The XX, Hundred Waters, and Willow Smith.

Three day passes are on sale now starting at $190 for GA and $345 for VIP. Single day passes are said to be available soon, closer to the festival dates. One thing is for sure, when single day passes do go on sale, you can expect whichever day Gorillaz is scheduled on to sell out right away. “Exclusive Florida Performance” is pretty intimidating, so I wouldn’t chance it. Buy your passes now!

And we’ll see you in Miami for III Points on October 13th-15th!
