An Ultra Party in Paradise

Imagine white sand beaches lined with luscious green palm trees. Add a stage with some of electronic music biggest names playing today’s  hottest bangers and you have Ultra Beach Bali. The festival returns to Potato Head Beach Club for its third year on September 14th and 15th.

Ultra Music Festival started in 1999 as a one day event in Miami. Despite high attendance (around 10,000), the founders, Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes, actually lost money that first year. Now that 11 hour rave has turned into global phenomenon. The first international event took place in Ibiza in 2007. Today Ultra is in over 20 counties including China, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, and more.

The two day event in Bali will host a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh faces. The headliners are Zedd, Kygo, and Hardwell. Also on the lineup is Getter, Rezz, and Slushii.

With a new album on the way, Isabelle Rezazadeh, Rezz, is definitely one artist to watch. Her underground techno sound has gained her fans like Deadmau5 as well as her own cult of fans. Her sound is dark and addicting like her new single “Relax” from her new album to be released later this year.

Getter is a bit of a wildcard on the lineup. Hailing from Northern California, he brings a harder sound than the headliners. Attendees will get their dose of head banging, especially when he plays songs like Rip N Dip.
