Having headliners, last year, like The Killers and Twenty One Pilots, this festival left all of us with high expectations for this year. I certainly don’t think they disappointed.
Music Midtown is returning for its 17th year to Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia this September with headliners Bruno Mars, Mumford & Sons, Future, and Blink-182. Joining these guys on the four Midtown stages are some more artists like Weezer, Bastille, Wiz Khalifa, HAIM, The Strumbellas, The Naked and Famous, Broods, Joywave, and PVRIS.
This is going to be my first time at Midtown, also actually my first Georgia festival and I’m way too excited to finally head up to Atlanta for this one (especially after having major regrets for missing it last year). I’ve only been to a few city fests, so it’s always cool to experience more and more of them. Plus, the lineup is packed with some of my favorite bands like Mumford & Sons, Young the Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, Milky Chance, Oh Wonder, Judah & the Lion, and COIN, adding to the excitement.
This is also not a camping fest, so if you’re planning on hitting this one, I would hop on some hotels ASAP. We all know how expensive Atlanta can get and how quickly rooms can sell out, especially during a festival. Check out the list of hotels near Music Midtown here.
