With just a little over a month left until Memorial Day Weekend, the West Coast is in heat of preparation for the largest transformational festival of the region, Lightning in A Bottle. As the title implies, LIB is a place to experience and live out your dreams, sending them away out in the depths of the ocean for the years to come. The stacked lineup, immersive environments, workshops, seminars, live art, games, and new hangout at the LAKE are just a few of the gems waiting for you in Bradley, CA this May 24^th-29^th, 2017. The experience begins with the music and continues on for each and every one of us in a unique manner, so we here at Festival Squad have prepared a stage breakdown to explore and get you excited for this Do Lab fantasy.

The Lightning Stage

Coined as the main stage, the Lightning Stage has the most variety out of the curated music experiences at LIB. Highlights for 2017 include Bassnectar, Wildlight (The Polish Ambassador + Ayla Nereo, say what?!), Big Wild, Bonobo, and Rufus Du Sol. The main stage is not only limited to headliners, LIB is unique in that other artists are featured on this stage as well. Expect a beautiful mixture of live and electronic music featured on this stage located at the heart of the festival grounds.

The Thunder Stage

Much like the name implies, this stage is dedicated to the hard-knockin’ wubz. Throughout the hot days and chilly nights, womps and wobblez will be bumpin’ at the Thunder Stage. I find myself spending most of my time at this one, so fair warning, you won’t ever want to leave! Especially with Troyboi, Paper Diamond, Dimond Saints, and iLL.GATES b2b Stephan Jacobs on the itinerary…

The Woogie

A favorite of many LIB attendees, the Woogie features a giant nested stage with tubular accents, providing you with your House music fix all weekend long. Whether you are a LIB veteran or first-time attendee, you must get your WOOGIE on at some point during the weekend. Seriously though, the vibes at this stage are like no other; come check it out for yourself and party with Christian Smith, Monolink, and many others!

The Grand Artique

Deep in Frontierville exists an intimate stage that will make you feel like you have traveled back in time. Crowd favorites for this environment include Dirtwire, Elephant Revival, and Bootleg Sunshine. The gypsies will be waiting for you!

PRO TIP: Check out the Trading Post in Frontierville for some awesome treasures and conversation, who knows what you’ll come across!

The Favela and Pagoda Bar will be keeping the beats rollin’ in between stages as you refresh and refuel!
