Following two of Michigan’s most renowned music festivals—Movement and Electric Forest—comes Mo Pop, a fun two-day fest at West Riverfront Park in Detroit. Organizers have recently announced daily lineups featuring a solid mix of indie and pop artists with a touch of hip hop. Weekend tickets are available now for $109.50 GA or $249 for VIP, and single-day tickets will go on sale tomorrow at noon for $89.50 for GA or $199 for VIP. Daily lineups are as follows…
Saturday: G-Eazy, HAIM, Glass Animals, BØRNS, FIDLAR, Twin Peaks, Bishop Briggs, Alex G, Panama Wedding, Coast Modern, Quilt, Tunde Olaniran.
Sunday: M83, The Head and The Heart, Matt and Kim, Father John Misty (solo), Mac Demarco, Shakey Graves, Nothing But Thieves, Kaleo, Banners, Raury, Lewis Del Mar, The Greeting Committee.
This year’s VIP experience includes express re-entry, premium parking, expanded front-of-stage viewing areas, air conditioned bathroom trailers, a complimentary refillable water bottle and souvenir tote bag, and more. Children 12 and younger may attend for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, courtesy of School of Rock. A few more recently announced activities that caught our eye include a yoga class hosted by Citizen Yoga on Sunday from 12:15-1:30, live paining and temporary tattoos from Ink Addict, and the opportunity to browse vinyl collections thanks to UHF Records.
