This spring, beautiful Lake Perris State Park in Southern California will be host to the first ever edition of SLANDER Presents: Starbase. Backed by Insomniac, SLANDER presents us with an immersive weekend, infused with many EDM talents we know and love, such as Dimension, Space Laces, Before Dawn, and of course, SLANDER themselves. Highly anticipated, Starbase will transport festival goers to another planet for an entire weekend, and is bound to have many unforgettable experiences in store. With such a stacked lineup and wide variety of genres, this new-comer to the festival circuit has the potential to become the west-coast’s version of Dancefestopia, or even Lost Lands, should it gain traction; which is highly likely.

Taking place over April 25th and 26th this year, Starbase promises anxious fans three fully produced stages, mesmerizing art installations throughout the venue grounds, and, to the extreme excitement of many, absolutely no set-time conflicts. An official announcement notes, “As one stage winds down, another adventure begins…”, and with music slated to play until dawn each morning, we can be sure that the dancing, shuffling, and headbanging will never stop. While workshops and activities are still to be announced, we can expect them to be more fantastic additions to the Starbase experience.

First announced in 2021, Starbase was initially put on hiatus due to COVID-19. With the opportunity for the grand debut finally arriving in 2025, SLANDER are coming to the table ready and prepared. The mega-talented duo, made up of Derek Anderson and Scott Land, have been creating hits together since 2014 and performed together at hundreds of festivals across the globe. Over the course of Starbase, SLANDER will be performing a total of five sets, including two B2B’s with Dimension and NGHTMRE, respectively. Other highly anticipated sets of the weekend include those of Pleasurekraft, Moody Good B2B Chee, and Township Rebellion, amongst many more.

Campgrounds will open to attendees on Thursday at 8:00 AM, and a camping ticket also includes access to a pre-party on the serene beach of Lake Perris. This picturesque state park offers spacious campsites with on-site shower facilities, and only a few minutes walk to the festival grounds and water. While car camping passes are currently sold out, tent camping and RV passes are still available, as well as both GA and VIP festival admission passes.
