It’s that time of the year where we not only count down the final days of the year, but head south of the border to relax by the beach, soak up some sun, and listen to some of the world’s best electronic music in Tulum, Mexico. Zamna Tulum will once again be hosting another action-packed 10-day festival lineup at their majestic property that surrounds a cenote in the middle of the jungle. While there will likely be final additions made the program’s schedule, let’s dive into what we know of the lineup as there’s a lot to unpack.
Zamna’s opening party will kick off on New Year’s Eve with Artbat as the headliner for their Upperground label party. Artbat has been on a quite a run the past few years in the electronic music scene playing all around the world and is a veteran of the Zamna festival having played the last few years. Speaking of Zamna veterans, Tale of Us will bring their iconic Afterlife party back for another promising year. The lineup includes several Afterlife favorites such as Recondite, Stephan Bodzin and Tale of Us themselves. In addition, there are several rising Afterlife stars worth seeing including Colyn, Fideles and Innellea who will be playing a live set. Claptone will be bring his masquerade event on January 2nd, and Black Coffee will be bringing the South African house vibes on Saturday, January 8th.
New to Zamna is the Ibizan giant Circoloco, who has been hosting their parties all over the world for the last 20 + years. Finally, the closing party will be held by the British label Renaissance, who will be bringing an epic lineup for what could be the best party Tulum will see this winter. Progressive house legends Sasha and John Digweed will go back-to-back, as will the Innervision labelmates Echonomist and Jimi Jules. Sebastian Leger will bring his Modular live set up that recently debuted at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) back in October, and the mighty Sven Vath will be bringing the crates for an extended vinyl set that will consist of only the best techno to be heard in the jungle.
You can check the full lineup for each day and buy tickets at the link below. We at Festival Squad are very much looking forward to returning to Zamna, as this already looks to be another year that will not disappoint.
